I will be the first to admit that the Yankees are playing better than I had anticipated this postseason. A-Fraud is actually hitting the ball and for the most part the pitching staff is pitching their paychecks worth. I will say that for all intents and betting purposes, i like the Angels Game 6. Here are just a couple of reasons.
1. Mark Texeria is hitting like he has the H1N1 Virus. If it wasn't for A-Fraud, this point would be VERY glaring. I have a sneaking suspiscion that A-Fraud's reign as clutch performer ended game 5 and Mark HAS to step it up or the Yanks are in trouble.
2. Yankees bullpen. With the exception of Rivera, I think the Yanks bullpen has been figured out and the Angels, if given the opportunity, will exploit that weakness.
3. The "Nothing To Lose" factor. You know the Angels will be throwing everything and the kitchen sink at the Yanks Game 6. the ynaks, knowing they will pull it out Game 7, will show a little more restraint.
4. The Ump factor. Can the Umps TRY to give a ballgame to the Yankees again? History tells us yes, but I think with the EXTREME scrutiny that the umps are under after the last couple of games, we might see a WELL CALLED game for once. This will take a comsiderable edge away from the Yankees.
5. I will be watching it. With the exception of last nights game I have not watched more that 10 minutes of any Yankees playoff game live ( I have watched them on DVR). Last night between the Saw marathon on SyFy I watched the Yankees get destroyed. The Yankees only scored when I was enthralled in the comquests of Jigsaw. The Yankees have not won a playoff game that I have watched in it's entirety since Game 3 of 2004 against you know who!
EVERYONE BET THE ANGELS!!
