    Next ump to blow it?
I normally don't give the umps too much grief, and lord knows I've seen my share of missed/bad calls in my lifetime. But McClelland's blown call at third last night when both Cano and Posada should've been out ranks at the top of the list. Just don't see how an umpire can miss that one; the only reason that comes to mind is McClelland simply was not focused on the game last night at all.

So who is the next umpire to blow a call? Hallion is behind the plate tonight, should find Ted Barrett down the RF line, Sam Holbrook on LF line, Bruce Dreckman at third, Randy Marsh at second, Gary Cederstrom at first.

My pick to not click as a field arbiter tonight is...Randy Marsh, if only because he's got a South Park character by the same name.

Cederstrom is useless. He blows calls all the time. He should never be behind the plate and look now he is at first base.

This year's playoffs are the worst I've ever seen. I am 52 and watch a lot of baseball. Ump's have choked big time.

1 out, the Ump is always right

Doesn't the catcher have enough work to do covering home plate? What the heckski then is he doing standing over a plate other than homeplate? There are several other players in the infield to help you out, quit being a ballhog. One out per player I always say, I'm glad the ump only called 1 out on that play.

Can you imagine what kinda baseball game things would be if all the catchers started acting like that...they'd get rid of the 3rd baseman and then work on getting rid of the shortstop. The economy is in bad enough shape already.
They got rid of the guy in the caboose. Watch and see, it will happen. 3rd baseman, cross-train, now!!!

For those still wondering who controls the outcomes of your bets is the umpires in every sport. It's much easier to bribe the ones making peanuts than trying to bribe the players or the managers.
