    Cole Hamels Day Stats
Just finished reading a few quotes about Hamels complaining about the early start time again so I was curious to see his day record this year:

    9GS
    0-6
    48IP
    63H
    12BB
    43SO
    5.44ERA
    1.56WHIP
    .326 BAA

Cook isn't outstanding during the day either but Hamels has been brutal this year. Last year he wasn't as bad, but definitely better @ night.

regular season stats mean nothing when October starts... Carpenter was lights out during the regular season and he laid an egg yesterday... granted I hope Hamels continues to struggle since I'm on Colorado this afternoon.

He hasn't been stellar during the day of course, but really, only 2 bad starts in there. I thought it may have been a little worse than the actual list there. Nice work though, great info to have!!!

The Cardinals as road favorites are often lay eggs.

I never could get a good enough read on either Hamels or Cook yesterday when I was looking at this game, so just decided to go with the Over instead.

It appears that Hamels pitched well in the home starts? Yes, I have to place a bet on the Phils today again but not with alot of confidence in Cole! I believe the bats will wake up for the Phils if they have some patience and make Cook throw some pitches! July 31 was last time he threw over 100 pitches. Ground ball pitcher, make him get it up. Chase Utley has to come alive. Other than Victorino they have hit Cook well! Surprisingly not much history with Hamels facing Rockies! I guess the over looks good too, but so did it yesterday? Let's go Phighting Phils! Good luck to all

Looks to me as Cole has lost that wicked change-up that was a big part off his success last season. I will be fading him the rest of the post season.
