Angels have too many dumb players that cant handle the pressures of the post season. Like Aybar who missed the bunt vs the Sox last season. And Scott Shields who gave up the series clinching hit. Even Vlad sucks. His post season numbers arent much better than A-Roid's.

They have a shot to beat the Tigers/Twins. But no way will they beat Yanks/Sox.

Kazmir is a Red Sox killer. Kendry is one of the best players in the league. Hunter is solid. Halos roll this year-

as much as i hate the yankees, nobody is going to beat the yankees granted that their pitching is solid and throwing deep into games. If you think Halo's are winning i'd think again. i think the sox have a better shot against angels. but even if sox beat angels, yankees still worry me. they are on fire.

I can't stand the Yankees but the Angels have about a 5% chance of beating them in a series. I doubt LAA can even win 2 games in a series vs NYY.

That aside, I'm really rooting for them after they lost the kid Adenhart. They are united as a team and trying to win for the kid. They are notoriously bad against Boston in the playoffs ,and I can't see them getting past the NYY either. I think they are gonna need an extra Angel in the outfield to pull it off! GO ANGELS

Kazmir is just 8-7 with 3.59 ERA vs. the Red Sox in his career. In game 2 of 2008 ALCS, he allowed 5 ERs in just 4.1 innings of work to the Sox.

Angels can't afford to have even 1 bad outing like this considering they have lost their last 13 of 14 playoff games to Boston.

Kazmir has been much better against the Yanks, 6-4 with 2.53 ERA. Angels have also beaten the Yanks the past 2 times they met in the playoffs. But this Yanks team is far better.

Kendry Morales has 1 good season and he's suddenly the savior?
Please.... he'll choke in the post season as usual. They had a far better hitter at 1B last season and still couldn't win more than 1 game.

Torii Hunter was good in the playoffs but again he's just 1 guy. I'm not worried about him, it's the other chokers like Vlad Guerrero I'm worried about.

Vlad in 75 postseason ABs has 1 HR and 7 RBIs. Very A-Roid like.

Would be an interesting story with the whole Adenhart deal. Personally, I'm rooting for the Twins and Rockies just to hear Dumb & Dumber, aka Buck and McCarver, lament not having the Yankees or Red Sox or Dodgers in the damn thing.
