dice-k matsuzaka returns to sox today

any opinions, projections for how dice-k will fare going into playoffs? his last rehab start was in single A. obviously far different from majors.. but he still pitched pretty decent and improved some problems, maintained velocity on his fastball down the stretch. went 6 2/3 innings. appeared to have control. think it was something like 1run 3hit 1bb 5k. had a bad rehab start for portland sea dogs..

just want to get a thread going. when hes pitching well, he really helps sox. think he will ever get back to who he was last year? maybe by 3 starts?

concerns? praise? comments? like him? hate him? want to get a thread going of some good analysis.. anyone been following his progress?

i havent followed anything on him but you may want to check on the opposing pitchers stats lately. lackey has been dominant as of late. I dunno how dice k is going to pitch but i would stay away. if anything id bet on angels

With their comeback antics, the Red Sox can win this game, but I like the Angels to take the lead in the FF.

I took the under -9.5. Lackey has been dominant, and I'm going with my gut that DiceK is going to have a solid outing.

I'm on the Angles tonight I can't envision Dice K pitching well when he sucked earlier this year and really hasn't had enough rehab starts to be ready to pitch against an AL West leading lineup. I'll take my chances with the Angels before risking anything on Dice K.

postgame analysis? fluke? is dice-k back? opinions everybody. if dice-k is pitching solid and beckett gets better... playoffs hope? still get kicked by yankees?
