    Preseason Trivia - Feb 15
Of all the players to hit at least 10 home runs in a season since 1959, only two have hit more homers than they struck out that season. The most recent to do so was Barry Bonds in 2004 when he popped 45 homers and struck out just 41 times.

Who is the only other player to accomplish this feat?

I THINK it was George Brett, although I can't pinpoint the year

Hang a star on that one...

George Brett is the correct answer. Brett slapped 24 round-trippers in 1980, striking out just 22 times during that season when he flirted with .400 and ended at .390.

When you're as dense and slow-witted as I am, LT, it's tough to come up with questions that are all that challenging I used to think that I knew a lot of baseball trivia until meeting another Astros fan a few years ago. The guy's a walking encyclopedia of baseball information. He's actually become a source for some of the trivia questions the Astros throw out on their FOXSW broadcasts.
