    Who'd a thunk it?
So I'm perusing the MLB standings and schedule as I usually do about five this morning with my first cup of coffee, and while at the ESPN standings page I take a gander at the far-right column: POFF, or a team's chances of making the playoffs. Right now the Yankees and Cardinals are both at 99.9%. An even dozen of the 30 teams are at zero.

The teams that surprised me were the Astros and Mariners. Neither will play on come Oct 5, but with a 0.1% chance of the postseason they are both level with the Tampa Bay Rays. Anyone that thought Seattle and Houston would have an equal chance at the postseason on Sep 10 as Tampa, I salute you.

Would much rather see TEX make it then Bostons.

TEX is primed to make a run, I would love to see them edge out Boston. ( It has nothing to do with the 25-1 ticket I hold for TEX to win the ALCS.)

For sure! Don't want to see Stephen King in the stands this year! The guy is scary looking! Phils-Yanks World Series!
