because between chasing the juice and loosing 3 consecutive games where you double and then tripple down.. its a major hit to most people's bankroll if not all of it..

1 loss in any 3-game chase can amount from anywhere from 20 to 40 units. They add up quick. So 1 or even 2 losses a year on a 3-game chase can kill most if not all of profit and a lot of effort.
