What's with the White Sox? They are not very good.

It's not that they've stopped trying, it's that they are not as good as the other teams they are competing with. That's what happens when you are a slow team that relies on three-run homers and your defense is not that hot either.

I find it strange when people think teams have given up, these guys are getting paid alot of cash to do what they do and with big teams of people behind them they are obviously trying. Most professional sports people also have a very competitive nature and want to win everything. They are just not as good at baseball as some.

I apologize if my thread has offended someone in some ways.
I know some teams are better than others, but it doesn't mean they should lose if they are not good as the others.
Hey, they are professional, no? I was just thinking maybe somebody in the team should do something to avoid the sweep and keep their spot for the playoffs.

Yes someone in their team should go and do something, maybe you should call them up and give them this motivational speech since they aren't trying at all or anything.

They haven't given up. They are only 4.5 games back in the Central race.

I had the White Sox yesterday. They just didn't capitalize on their chances. Could have easily gone the other way. Individual baseball games are much more about getting good breaks than pure skill.
