Parnell, auditioning for a spot in the Mets' 2010 rotation, lasted just three innings when he faced the Braves. The game was effectively over after the second.The Braves went up 8-0 in the 2nd inning. The relief trio of Nelson Figueroa, Tim Redding and Sean Green wasn't exactly lights-out, either. Figueroa gave up two runs, Redding gave up three and Green allowed one. The Phillies have been on a tear and the bats are smoking.
