What is wrong with Roy Oswalt?

Roy Oswalt was pitching very well until July 28. On July 28th Roy was removed from the game after 1.2 innings, he had given up 1 hit and struck out 2. No reason was given for his removal.

Oswalt has pitched 2 games since then. On August 11 Oswalt was blasted for 6 runs in 5 innings by Florida. On August 16th Oswalt gave up 5 runs in 6 innings vs the Brewers.

Oswalt has struggled with back problems before. Is this a recurrence?

I like backing the old Oswalt in today's game but I'm thinking this new Oswalt is too risky.

He's one of the best in today's game, no doubt. But Curious is right, there was a little bump in the road. Same thing with Halladay after the trade rumors were flying. Not quite the same, but still one of the best.
