Bankroll: $3,000
System Plays: 3 concurrent
Objective: Min. $1,000 profit by Sunday
As many of you may know, I play the JM systems. It's done well for me over the past 10 months, so I'm gonna jack with it this weekend, because there are three system plays (two official, one unofficial) beginning tonight that I hope to leverage for a winning weekend. My current bankroll is only 3,000 at three books, rather low for me, so if I lose it, I lose it, but I hope to fatten it up for future fun by winning 5 times within 3 JM chases (except I'm not always chasing).
Official Plays from JM:
Seattle [A] (this is a +1.5 Run Line bet)
Tampa Bay [A] (this is a Money Line bet)
Unofficial Plays from JM:
Boston [A] (this is a +1.5 Run Line bet)
1.) I'm playing the Seattle/Cleveland series like a straight v1.0 JM play; counting on the Mariners not to get swept by Cleveland. I'm not in love with this play, I think Seattle is weaker than their record indicates and Cleveland is stronger, but it's an official play and they have hit all season. The difference for me this weekend: I'm not playing the RL as the system indicates. I'm betting the Mariners ML +110 tonight.
2.) I'm playing the Tampa Bay/Texas series by counterbetting the official play on the first game. I've been waiting for hours for the ML on Texas to creep upwards, and it didn't move enough for my liking but I nailed it at +155. The Tampa Bay official play seems to be the favorite of JM loyalists; but I just like Texas going up against Kazmir in this game and I like those ML odds.
3.) I'm playing the Boston/NYY as an unofficial series: counting on Boston not to get swept by the Yankees at home. The difference for me this weekend: I'm combining ML and RL bets on Boston, heavy on the ML. I placed these bets last night.
If Boston wins the opener, I'll be on the Yanks tomorrow. If they lose, I'll be on Boston again tomorrow. If Texas wins the opener, I'll be on TBay tomorrow. If they lose, I'll be on Texas again tomorrow. Regardless, my units will be pumped on Friday and Saturday (and maybe Sunday) in a high-risk game.
My wagers for Friday:
$200 to win 220 on Seattle ML +110
$350 to win 333 on Boston ML +105 ($260) and RL -150 ($90)
$300 to win 465 on Texas ML +155
For better or worse, the dice have been rolled.
