if i was going to make a play on this game i would probably do the over, reason is its suppose to have alot of rain this afternoon and stop and go until friday so i think the bullpen should get plenty of work here,but again u never know how the weather will turn out,,but thats my logic hopefully i helped and good luck

1 unit play on white sox for me. Grienke is an ace pitcher who gets no run support from his team. Royals have what I consider a weak bullpen and the white sox need this win. Good Luck today.

KC should NEVER be favored, unless they are playing the Nat's or Pirates, but unfortunately they are in another league. Therefore, a line of KC on the ROAD, as a favorite, is mind boggling... Grienke is good, but gets no run support whenever he pitches and their bullpen sucks... I def would have went CWS...

The line was correct. An Ace of a staff against one of the worse the Sox have. The Royals arent as bad as their record indicates and with their ace on the mound against a average at best starter the line was spot on.

Two stats are interesting here:
1) CWS are 12-5 in Contreras' L17 starts vs the Royals
2) The Royals are 1-6 in Greinke's L7 road starts vs CWS

Add to it the fact that it's become a taboo for either Grienke or the Royals to win 2 games in row, and then you have a winner in CWS.

We can all pull info and stats AFTER a game has started and the CWS are up 3-1, I just didnt agree with the Royals being a clear cut favorite. If they were -110 then yeah I could agree with that, but not -130... But all the same, I hope Grienke pulls it out, I have him on my fantasy team..
