Hey guys,

Some of you know me from another forum, some of you don't know me at all. I will be using this forum to post my picks, and my write ups. I usually post my confidence ranking as soon as it's released and then do write-ups for different games throughout the day. My record can be confirmed from a lot of people on the community from another forum that I am no longer apart of by choice. I look forward to being apart of this community and making money together! I hope we're able to do good things.

How My Power Ranking Works: Everyday I will release a list of all the games available for that day. they will be in order from the ones I like the most to the ones I like the least. My most confident plays will be in blue. They are called my Blue Chip Confidence Plays.

Business As Usual

It's going to be business as usual for Tampa Bay. Not because Tampa Bay is some power-house, they haven't even been doing that well, with chances of going to the playoffs again fading quickly. But today, David Price will take the mound, and well. embarrass the shit out of Berken... Kind of like the way someone feels when grandma forgets to knock on the door and walks in on you pounding your girlfriend after two weeks of being away at college..yeah, it's going to be like that. Is that a stat? No it's a prediction but these are some stats. Tampa Bay (63-54) matched its longest skid of 2009 by dropping five straight last week, losing valuable ground in the wild-card race, and even though they might feel like retards it doesn't mean that they're not going to try to take every win they have. The Rays, though, have to be feeling better after Gregg Zaun's pinch-hit grand slam in the eighth inning delivered them a 5-2 win over Toronto on Sunday. It was Zaun's fifth career grand slam and first since Sept. 6 while with Toronto. That homer, a game-winning drive in the 13th inning, came against the Rays. But this time the momentum is on their side, and it will show tonight. Price gave up six runs in six innings of a 6-0 road loss to the Los Angeles Angels last Tuesday, falling to 0-4 with an 8.07 ERA in seven road games. But he's been far more effective at Tropicana Field, where he's won four straight starts to improve to 5-1 with a 2.72 ERA in seven games. I really feel like Price plays better at home, even though he says he doesn't feel any different. Who knows why he's playing better at home, maybe it's because he's able to do his own thing and then go to sleep in his own bed, and pound his girlfriend without grandma standing there... Maybe it's comfort, regardless of what it is I'll tell you this:Baltimore (48-70) fell 8-5 at home against the Angels on Monday night for its 22nd loss in 30 games since the All-Star break. Did you read that correctly? no don't backtrack, I'll just type it again so my heart rate can increase and it feels like I'm on an elliptical. 22 GAMES OUT OF 30 LOST! Jason Berken (2-10, 6.63) will take the mound Tuesday for the Orioles, who are 3-12 in games started by the right-handed rookie. Berken gave up four runs in five innings to suffer a 6-3 home loss to Oakland on Wednesday. He's never faced Tampa Bay, but he will today. Look for Tampa Bay to put in some good work and destroy Baltimore, Solid pitching at home, and capable offense makes this game my top play.

The Houston Astros has had it's problems as of late, but as far as problems go with Bud Norris goes, that's a negative. Bud Norris must be the "cocaine" of the Houston Astros world, at least it's what seems to put all their problems away. After Houston's struggling series with Florida, Florida will come to Houston to finish off the series. Bud Norris won his game in Florida against the same pitcher he'll be facing tonight. Not only did Houston win, they owned the Marlins that night. Tonight at home and in the best state in the whole country, the Astros will look to repeat that victory. If Nolasco couldn't even win in Florida, against Norris and the Astros I don't think he's going to pull one in Houston. But even though I said it was going to be a win doesn't mean it's going to be easy this time around. Florida has been hitting like crazy. Nolasco was 2-0 with a 1.65 ERA in his previous four starts, but was not as sharp as we've seen him before," manager Fredi Gonzalez told the Marlins' official Web site. "That happens over the course of 30 to 35 starts. He will bounce back, and we'll get him going again." Bud Norris, though, is the first Astros pitcher to win his first three starts since Roger Clemens won his first seven in 2004. Houston on the other hand isn't exactly in a hitting slump either. Houston's Hunter Pence hit a three-run shot off Nolasco on Wednesday and added a three-run homer off Tim Wood for a career-high six RBIs. Florida has not won a series in Houston since May 2004. The Marlins went 2-8 in their last 10 games at Minute Maid Park.

Fireworks In Cleveland

As a general rule, never ever leave your wing-man. Now with that said for the first time since early July, Torii Hunter and Vladimir Guerrero are both expected to start as the West-leading Angels visit the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday. The Angels really didn't look like they needed these guys because even with Hunter gone they were still batting like nobodies business. That will be the story tonight in Cleveland, that's not to say that Cleveland is completely helpless, in fact I don't even like the side on this game, so I'm not exactly riding the halo's cock. But I will say this, if Minnesota and Cleveland could get together and create fireworks, than LA and Cleveland are gonna fornicate and create a nuclear bomb of a score. Look I know 10.5 is a little high, but Dude even If it was at 11.5 I'd say take that shit like you ate too much taco bell! Hunter and Guerrero haven't shared the field together since July 7. Hunter (groin) came off the disabled list Sunday and played all 13 innings of a 17-8 victory over Baltimore, but Guerrero, who missed most of July with a strained left knee, sat out after being hit by a pitch Saturday. Hunter was given Monday off while Guerrero was back in the lineup, homering twice and driving in five runs in an 8-5 victory over the Orioles. The win was Los Angeles' third straight and the team improved to 25-8 since July 10. The Angels won two of three against the Indians (51-66) in July when Hunter and Guerrero were out. The Angels will face Fausto Carmona (2-7, 6.37 ERA), who has lost his last three decisions and is looking for his first victory since May 14. Carmona is 0-1 with a 2.65 ERA in three starts since being recalled from the minors July 31. He pitched six innings against Texas on Wednesday, allowing two runs in a 5-0 loss.The right-hander will open this six-game home stand for the Indians, who won two of three over Minnesota last weekend, including 7-4 on Sunday. Cleveland scored six runs in the third inning with Kelly Shoppach and Luis Valbuena hitting back-to-back home runs. Grady Sizemore added a two-run homer in the inning for the Indians, 15-9 since July 21. Sizemore and the Indians will face Trevor Bell (0-0, 6.75), who will be making his second major league start The 22-year-old rookie right-hander, starting in place of Joe Saunders (shoulder), gave up four runs and nine hits in 5 1/3 innings of a 10-5 loss to Tampa Bay on Wednesday. He allowed two home runs and struck out four. I don't want to, but If I had to I'd say Cleveland takes the first one against the rookie in LA, but there will be lots of scoring, so it's safer to take the over.
