The Reds have one of the top bullpens in the league. Arroyo's 2nd half numbers have been excellent the past couple of years. Balester aint that bad either. The Reds have a terrible offense. The only thing you over people have going in your favor is the Nats offense.

Arroyo's lost 10 of 13, but I will grant you he hasn't been as bad as his record. The Reds haven't given him the run support, but they have averaged almost 4 runs a game in their last ten facing 3 of the top 6 pitching staffs in the majors. Meanwhile the Nats have averaged 6 runs a game in their last ten and have only been slowed down by Atlanta's 3rd-ranked staff.

6-4 or 7-5 Nats would make my night. But I'd be happy hitting just the overs as well.

What if the streak ends today? I'd rather use a larger sample size, such as teh whole season to measure an offense. The Red's offense is sending guys like Rosales and Laynce Nix to the plate. Look at the other games the Reds have played against the Nats this season. They were all low scoring affairs because the Reds don't have offense. Their offense can make the worst pitching staffs look good.
