MLB Reverse Line Movement Thread 2009
Well since I can't handicap to save my life (look at my SBR spreadsheet)....I thought I would try something different. I will post RLM plays in here. It has to meet certain requirements. The requirements are Pinnacle and The Greek both have to have RLM. Sometimes they are opposite of each other and it will be a no play. The line for both books have to be heading the reverse way of the consensus. Feel free to comment and discuss anything RLM in this thread. I will also add this thread to NFL Preseason, WNBA and CFL forums. This is an experiment so if you follow please do so with caution. Personally I will be betting them to win $500. Good luck!

I'll be back to see if there will be some RLM in the early MLB games

Like the idea... With solid capping (not saying Im solid but just saying!) And taking into consideration RLM, could generate some wins...

                      Also,

What source are you using for consensus? Consensus numbers can vary a lot depending on the book and the sources out there. If you have a paid service that looks across all books that would be best, otherwise you're swimming upstream!

You also might want to set a limit for your consenus. What's 58 to 42% mean? Is that enough of a consensus? Maybe 70-30? Maybe 80-20? Maybe 85-15? Just giving you some ideas.

Well the early games went 1-1-1...so not a bad start. For the night games it looks like the NYY/Seattle game has reverse line movement. We'll wait and see closer to game time and see if that holds up.

Pit was a play today with 30 cent move.
Seattle is now a play since it crossed into +174.

I'd be weary. I have been playing these all MLB season MLB RLM 09 98-121 -22units. It's been rather rough, but maybe the value sides just aren't hitting. Most of the plays also agree with accuscores % lines in that they have value too. This is using pinnacles lines. Maybe the turn around starts today!

CRIS moves have been profitable this season, although only about +9 units.
