Keep in mind, with the shortened season, managing is so important. One loss is like three losses in a regular schedule. The Giants are real bad and who is Kapler, not proven as yet.

Fade the big move (ftbm)

Two seasons ago, I created a rules based system thru Bet Labs that has yielded positive units with a 23% ROI, with a record of 42-42 (since built). The rules based system yielded the following results:

All Time: 201-247 +37.16 units 10% ROI

The parameters are the following:
the opening moneyline is between -135 and -125;
the closing moneyline is between -171 and -150

Big line movement throughout the day where the favorite gets pounded is a great play to fade. The numbers prove that out. For the 2020 MLB season, all FADE THE BIG MOVE selections will be three (3) unit plays.

This rules based play should make for interesting fodder.

This play is a close to gametime decision.

No action on the rainout would be sweet. Interesting that the rules changes have presented themselves on the first game.

Books have different rules. Make sure you check your book.

Most do.

So far only one requires 8.5 or 9 innings

I use three books Bookmaker, Heritage and 5dimes. Last nights wager Nationals play was placed on Heritage. Heritage uses the 8.5 rule on suspended games, thus a losing result. A Bookmaker play would of yielded a cancelled wager. We take the loss as a man.

We only have about another 150 wagers to go.

We go 2-2 -0.32 units. Our contrarian double dog play (CDDP) split with the +170 Marlins dominating the Phillies. The flyer on the Tigers might of puzzled the group. With the Reds touted so highly as a vast improving team, the line seemed a little fishy to me.

Fractional losing night for night, but we take it nonetheless.
