Pick 1: Baltimore Orioles +185 over Detroit Tigers (1 to win 1.85)
Compared to Cole Hamels, Brian Matusz has top-of-the-rotation stuff, and has had an exceptional year in the minors this season. Making his major league debut tonight, you never know what to expect; but he has the potential to have a dazzling debut, and seems worth the gamble to me at this price.
Pick 2: St. Louis Cardinals -105 over New York Mets (1.05 to win 1)
Not sure why I have this feeling, and it is hard to fade Santana in New York; but Pineiro has been as good as anyone of late, and I like the Cards bats alot more than the Mets bats.
Pick 3: Milwaukee Brewers +110 over Los Angeles Dodgers (1 to win 1.10)
Love Gallardo at +money, especially while the Dodgers are in this mini slump.
