Tue July 28 Pitchers with >= 6 days rest
    Marquis 8 days rest
    Dempster 25 days rest
    Padilla 10 days rest

Can someone look up why these dudes have been on rest for so long? In jail? In rehab for crack addiction? Came to the ballpark drunk the day of their last scheduled start?

          Marquis - Blister
          Dempster - Foot injury
          Padilla - Swine Flu

Curious sometimes your lack of knowledge for being such a big time bettor really alarms me. I remember in college basketball season saying you didn't care about injuries it was figured into the spread by the bookies. I would think a guy of your calliber would be all over every injury, stat, and angle.

You play 25 plays a day and have the time to know all that for every play and get back to me.

I am looking at the correlation between pitcher's rest and pitcher performance when the rest is a longer than normal period of time.

I'd be interested in these stats, as it seems to me with more than 10 days rest, pitchers come out either very rusty or seem to overthrow the ball trying to prove they are healthy.
