I remember in college basketball season saying you didn't care about injuries it was figured into the spread by the bookies. I am looking at the correlation between pitcher's rest and pitcher performance when the rest is a longer than normal period of time.

I'd be interested in these stats, as it seems to me with more than 10 days rest, pitchers come out either very rusty or seem to overthrow the ball trying to prove they are healthy.
