7/25 I like the Phillies

I think im goin to put a huge play on the phillies moneyline.


Phillies pitcher Rodrigo Lopes last 3 starts era 2.60 and Cardinals pitcher Kyle Lohse last 3 starts era 5.14.

I think it's a decent risk, but I would not bet against the Cardinals after they have remade the team in the past couple weeks. Holliday provides enormous support for Pujols and the Cards might be scoring 6 or 7 runs a game in the near future.

That said, Lopez has been solid since his call up from the minors earlier this month. But he is 1-1 with a 7.36 ERA in two starts versus St. Louis.

i dont know. there deff worth a small or normal bet but im not sure i would go huge. no doubt the phills have been hot and i would expect them to come back with a win after todays loss. but the cards slapped pineiro around who is a very good pitcher himself. dont under estimate the team energy that can be caused by a blockbuster trade, especially when that player is already comftorble and getting 4 hits in his first game
