Fred The Hammers 2nd Half MLB Season Thread
Still feeling good after making some nice coin $$$ on Jorge Masvidal!!!

Lets see if I can put together a 2nd half run

St. Louis Cardinals Under 4.5 (-125)

    $150 to win $120

Just a hunch, but I think the break will cool off these hitters a little bit. 5-0 last night in Arlington which is unheard of and 0-0 in the 7th inning today Cubs/Pirates. I'm going with Robbie Ray here! The Cards haven't been hitting well this year (team avg of .245) and Ray has 12ip / 2 er in the last 3 years in St. Louis. Its usually a decent pitchers park.

    Lets Go!!!

Cardinals couldn't hit the side of a barn if they were swinging right in front of it. Nice pick.

TY TY....really need to make a nice run here! They're opening up a sportsbook 18 miles from me....supposedly by Sept for football? Need to build up the bankroll!!

      1-0 +$120

      Adding:

      SF/Milw Over 8.5 (-122)buying .5 run

      $183 to win $150

SF has been red-hot! On a 7-1 streak while scoring 63 runs. On the flip side Milw can swing the bats and Miller Park is one of the biggest launching pads in MLB. Bumgarner has a 4.60 road era as well.

Love This one! Going to find another play or two & parlay with this one!

      Good Luck!!

Didn't take long to find another one!!!

        Adding:

        KC Over 4 (-115)

        $147 to win $128

        2 team Parlay KC>4 runs & SF/Mil >8.5 = $40 to win $96

Absolutely love this one too!! This is a Matthew Boyd fade all the way! He's a decent pitcher, but in his last 6 starts he has a 6.03 era including 4 ip/4 er vs the Royals in KC on June 13. Plus his name is coming up in trade rumors to the NL. He'll be distracted tonite! I actually like KCs lineup too! I've been riding Mondesi, Hunter Dozier, Gordon, and Soler in fantasy baseball all year. Plus Whitfield is very good and Cuthbert is a good hitter!

        Get It!!!

          2-0 +$303

          Adding:

          SF/Milw Over 9.5 (-112) $140 to win $125
          Reds 5 innings -.5 run (+120) $80 to win $96

          3 team parlay:

          SF/Milw >9.5 (-115)
          Reds 5 innings -.5 run (+120)
          White Sox > 3.5 runs (-130) $36 to win $226

Going right back to the well with SF/Milw. Chacin has been trash this year! No fastball and just nibbling. There should be plenty of runs! Taking a shot with the Reds. Sentzela has a 5.87 home era and 6.03 during the day. Mahle is a young guy I know well. He's young and learning, but has pretty good stuff. Much better stuff then Sentzela or whatever his name is.
Like the WS to score some runs today too!

Lets bring this parlay home today!!!

                    ALL-IN!!!!!!

                    Braves Over 4.5 (-135)

                    $312 to win $231

Adrian Houser for Milw has allowed 11 runs in 11 innings over his last 3 appearances. If he somehow pitches fairly well then he still comes out early because he's converting from relief. That leads to the Brewers middle relief WHICH SUCKS!!! Not to mention Atlanta is scoring runs like crazy & Miller Park is a launching pad!!!

                    Doubling my $$$ tonite!!!!!

The Braves are 2nd in the NL in scoring behind Colorado. Not to mention Miller Park is twice the launching pad that Turner Field is!!!

                          Top 9 & need a run

Goddamn Braves had 2 in and 1st/2nd with nobody out in the 7th & went down 1-2-3 when Milw brought in Guerra. Nobody can play small ball anymore? Atl had the 9 spot come up...just get a bunt down and move'm up to 2nd/3rd with 1 out. Then the odds are huge to get atleast 1 more run with Acuna at the plate!

Milw is bringing in some scrub with a 7 era....time for Atl to leave the yard!!!

Leadoff double off the wall & nothing. Oh well. Some bad breaks in this one, but have to start over. Milw ties it & extra innings are the only shot now

Trying to root it home. The 3 run bomb in the 4th inning looked good, but I guess I jinxed myself

                                No worries....coming back strong tonite!!!

                                (3-2) +0

                                Adding:

                                3 team parlay $100 to win $411

                                Reds Over 4.5 (-125)
                                Twins (-165)
                                Cards tomorrow (-130)

Cubs starting a young guy named Alec Mills. 21 career innings in the bigs w/a 5.48 (12 walks). A 4.73 era at AAA. I think he melts down somewhat tonite and the Reds have been scoring pretty well! Riding with Pineda with the Twins. He's given up 1 run in 5 of his last 6 starts. He's coming on! Finally....rolling with Ponce DeLeon at the Cards tomorrow. Hedging opportunity after these first 2 hit tonite (hopefully). Archer goes for Pitt and he's horrible!

                                Bounce back!!!!
