    Monday Night Baseball
Awfully sad news out of Texas tonight as visiting Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs, who just pitched two days ago has passed away. Word has not been released on cause of death. Let's look at the six o'clock games - only one points out and oddly enough it falls into the perfect filter...which is to Fade JJ Gold. Just an outstanding consistent horrible record. I give him props though, seems like a good dude and all. But let's get to the diamond

    Pirates +115
    Pirates Under 9.5 -110

We have to start with the home pitching here and how Trevor Williams does at home vs his division. He's 6-1 on the under in the last 7 situations I just stated (8-2-1 L11on the under). Something that really pointed out at me was T.Williams is 15-4 on the RL(79%) (11-8SU58%) as a Home Dog lifetime. He's also 5-0 L5 on the under as an Home Dog. Trevor has gone 6 or more innings in 9 of his last ten starts, pitches well into the 90 pitch mark almost everytime beside a recent west coast outing. He'll be able to shut down the majority of the Cubbies a solid 6-7 innings. ALSO consider: The Pirates are 5-1 on the UNDER when Trevor Williams faces the Cubs lifetime. Cubs Pitcher Adbert Alzolay pitched well in first official start last outing, lasting 85+ pitches in just four innings of 4 walks and 4 strikeouts. I follow the Cubs fairly well and I've notice when they're coming off an away loss in the last game of a series, they lose their next game. I looked that up and it held true: The Cubs are 2-5 in the last seven situations coming off an away loss and playing in the First Game of the Series (FGS). I also found the Cubs are 0-5 SU in their last 5 Away FGS. The Pirates are 7-3 in their last 10, decent pitcher vs a kid younger than me, getting Home Dogs odds. I like what Vegas is offering. Cubs are too dysfunctional

Thanks if you took the time to read. If I can generate a 5th comment; I'll post a write up for the real "Monday Night Baseball" game between the Giants @ Padres at 9:10CT on MLB Network.
