Is the JM system affecting odds?
I think the JM NBA system affected odds last season, and now I suspect the JM MLB system is affecting odds this season. Could a single system have that much influence? Have any other systems influenced oddsmakers so much in the past?

And what will it take for the oddsmakers to win the battle against sharp systems that become enormously popular with pro gamblers? Or does it not matter because there are so many dumb gamblers around the world to make up for it?

Believe it or not, sometimes I think the professional players themselves understand the system and it gives them a boost of confidence when they know they should win.

Then again, it is 3 in the morning and I am drunk off my ass. G'night Gracie.

Thought I'd revive this 5-day old thread (which had no replies) after the Toronto debacle last night. I think JM system players moved the Toronto line yesterday from an underdog with a +1.5 RL to a favorite with a -1.5 RL. In fact, that is what happened at most books.

Is JM responsible? Is the system too popular to sustain its recent success? Will the same thing happen in the NBA come November?
