    I don't understand MLB's blackout restrictions.
I live near Vegas. MLB says my regional teams are Arizona, San Fran, and Oakland. I'm not a fan of any of those, but I like baseball, so I would turn on any game they're broadcasting. I have Directv, so I get all the regional networks.

Today, Oakland is playing a morning game. It is not on the A's normal tv channel - it's on the MLB Network, but they've blacked it out. Why? What is the point of not letting me watch the damn game?

Do they think by showing me the game, they're hurting ticket sales? Like I'm gonna drive 550 miles to go to the game.
