Taking the Rockies & Gray here for a 2nd straight week. Brewers a bit vulnerable here after yesterday’s Chase Anderson fiasco required them to deploy a bullpen game.
Freddy Peralta is making his first appearance this season after a DL stint with shoulder problems. He was already getting rocked before the DL trip & I can’t see how he gets past 5 innings here when you take into account the injury & the fact that he has only went past 5 innings in 9 of his 20 big league starts anyway. With the Brewers being vulnerable to some tired arms out the pen, it’s tough to see how they escape another offensive explosion by the Rockies offense which has been torrid lately.
Gray had some command issues last game but it’s a good spot here for a rebound especially considering that Yelich is most likely still out & that lineup just isn’t as intimidating w/o him in it.
Gimme Rockies +110 in day time baseball as my dog of the day (6-2 ytd, +5.12u)
