How did this BUM ever get into the major leagues? Now a real major league pitcher has to come in and try to clean up his mess as best he can. Throw this BUM back to the minors or better yet send him off to Japan or China to play.

Rangers had to call him up earlier than they wanted to
the "circumstance." It is this: The Rangers are threadbare when it comes to pitching depth. On Wednesday, they started long reliever Kyle Dowdy because they had scratched Drew Smyly because of "nerve tightness" in his left arm. They had already burned through their most recent insurance policy, Wei-Chieh Huang, after Lance Lynn failed to complete four innings in Tuesday's start. So Huang, acquired from Arizona at last year's trade deadline, was sent back to Frisco after one outing and 48 pitches. He will be replaced by Hearn, who was acquired from Pittsburgh for Keone Kela at last year's trade deadline.Comment -
