Fade Nats thread JM style

This is for those of you who like the JM system and chase style betting plays. I was looking at some stuff earlier and it hit me that the nationals probably haven't swept anyone all year and probably won't sweep 1 team this year. So I think I'm gonna start with small amounts just fading the Nats on the moneyline no matter who there playing in a 3/4 game chase per series. Obviously there is a chance they could get hot but I just don't see it.

After the all star break the worst teams usually just go through the motions and bring up a lot of players to give them playing time and what not. I'm for sure gonna play this and post the record here.

I bet only the cubbies tonight against the Nats and won easily... Riggleman their replacement manager is a joke... Nothing going to change with this pitiful bunch... But the Cubs reported Soriano out 6-7 games and Lilly to miss start tomorrow... So I will get them again next week... They are really bad....

First official play in my new system of fading the nats. Monday July 20. Mets over the Nats on the moneyline. Betting 20 to win 22.

The Nats could be a historically horrible team, and they have not swept a three-games or more series this year (did sweep in two games once), so the system appears logical. I would modify the chase to reduce any losses on a C bet, though. They could sweep the Padres or Diamondbacks playing at home, which both happen in the next three weeks.

funny you might mention this idea. i was thinking about this aswell as doing the opposite with the dodgers as the havent lost 3 games all season. i havent made my mind up yet but i will be watching this thread closely. gl

The biggest problem will be the chalk... You can expect some games to be -200 or more...so anytime they pull an upset will be like two losses. Also betting 2 dollars or more to win one not fun... Might be some nice runline
situations.

You're so late on this it's pathetic. I 've already picked up so much free money fading them for the series wager and the games within the series that it is sick. They won't win more than 2 series in a row the entire year for the rest of this year and next year.Good luck, you should make a lot of money doing it. Also don't forget to do the same thing wth the PADRES. They are going into a youth movement, and will be tanking games

You, my friend, have found a guaranteed winning method. Fading the Nationals (also known as: Fagtionals, Fags, Disfunctionals, Washington "lets find a way to blow this lead" Nationals, or Washington "lets ground into a double play" Nationals) is one of the few winning methods in sports betting.

Well no play for Thursday its a make up game although I really like St Louis to win coming off of a disappointing sweep via the astros a contender for the central division. Expecting the bats to really light it up for St. Louis. Next series starts on Friday Padres paying a visit to the nationals.

Well nats lost game one series over. I would expect the padres to at least win one more but I won't put money on it. 2-0 so far in single game series chases. +45 bucks

I love this thread and have actually been doing it for a few series before you began this thread. but I don't know why for SOME ungodly reason I have a feeling Nats win tomorrow, I actually layed a little on them winning the series at +250, in no way in hell will they sweep! so best of luck to you!

Yep thats why I want to do a single game series chase with this because I could see the nats winning one maybe 2 games in a given series but not a sweep.

yes, the nats won't sweep anyone on the road...winning the series on the road, it's always a slim, slim possibility as they have done it in the past. i'm on the brewers tomorrow like a mofo. nats on the road in game ones are horrific. hell, in game ones period they are horrific. should they win, i'll probably just chase down my win. but coming off a series win at home, then hitting the road...bring it on nats.

edit...also wanted to add that the brewers did just lose their home series to the braves, and haven't won a series at home in a minute. the nats are a good team to turn things around against, a la cubs when they swept em in four, now they're on top of the division.

The brewers stink... I mentioned to you about their pitching problems and betting into Washingtons winning streak eliminated this from my system as I mentioned... But I would guess with this being a four game series the Brewers will return the favor at least once. But doubling up all the time on chases will eventually burn you bad... G.

I have no stomach for that kind of thing, my play at this point is skipping game 2 and see what happens possibly pick this series back up if the brewers lose tonight. BOL all and go brewers.

chasing and picking the right teams is quite a bit harder than it looks... As I mentioned...the Brewers stink.... They just do not have the pitching period... Glad you listened and did not bury yourself.... Skipping game #2 was a good move...

I watched the first 5 just for kicks and I really was hoping the brewers were gonna pull this one out but no go, there pitching is just horrid.

Passing again on the brewers I just don't like the matchup at all right now. If the brewers win tonight series is over with the 1 win, but if they lose I'll be heavy on them tomorow because its the first time this series they will have a decent pitcher trotting out to the mound.

Welp should have played em today oh well. Next series for the nats starts friday against the pirates. Gonna go real small here because I think the pirates have a good shot at losing 2 out of 3.

Well I played the brewers today bet 500 to win 180, recovered my game 1 loss and won 20 bucks. So far the system is 3 and 0 and I'm up 65 bucks on it. Next play is tomorrow pitts vs was, 9 on pitts to win 10.

Well Pitts pulled one out against my expectations today. Being that they gave away half of there team in the last couple of days. Glad this series is over. +10 bucks today. Up 75 total.
