I’m a glutton for punishment taking the banged up Yankees at this price, but they have won 3 of 4 and should be a little on edge after losing 2 of 3 at home to the crappy White Sox last weekend.

The vibe I’m feeling with the Rockies is that they finally have left the dock. A home win should be imminent.

In hindsight I am kicking myself for taking the Yanks. Fresh off of playing Boston mentally AND being injury riddled was too much to overcome. They were sleep walking. I considered all of those things briefly before playing it, but was still sucked in because “it’s the Yanks” and I thought they would smash Homer Bailey.

Arrieta is hot and Matz is not nor has he been for some time. The Mets have not played very well at all lately and their bats are cooling. The Phillies are consistent even though they lost 3 of 4 in Colorado. That doesn’t discourage me because Philly caught the Rocks at just the wrong time when they were due some good results.

The Athletics caught the streaking Jays at just the wrong time which happens we to be the exact time the A’s bats disappeared. I’m hoping The Rangers have a little bit of a hangover after putting it on their in state big brother over the weekend. The A’s have a solid call up pitching that should be out to prove his worth tonight.

It is risky and henges on my ability to make good decisions with these plays. I did very well last year with it, but again, I have to pick winners. There will be times where I get burnt. Hopefully I can make good enough decisions to overcome those times. I don’t know if you have been watching here since I started it, but I don’t always follow through with the chase. I have bailed after 1 loss multiple times. It’s fluid. Sometimes situations occur that change my mind and confidence level. It’s not hard set parameters that say I have to chase out EVERY series I start.

This is a case where I have allotted $2000 of my bankroll for this. My full bankroll is $10K + whatever I’m up over $2000 here. So, in the highly unlikely event that all 4 should lose then this would have ended with me losing a little more than $2K. Last year I won 13K doing this very thing, except starting with $200 rather than $300. I thought it would be fun to try to do it publicly so I can catch some betpoints if it works out ok. All it takes is 1 hot streak and you can really get a cushion.

Your starting BR is 10K then. You're pulling funds from 10K not 2K

No, the starting bankroll for this is $2K because that’s what I’m willing to risk here plus a little spillover if it comes to that. It’s what I am actually playing. If anyone is following they can adjust to whatever their bankroll comfort is. The starting Bankroll here is NOT $10K because I’m not willing for it to be.
