    Friday Value Plays
    I went 1-1 +0.12 units yesterday.

    For today:

Red Sox +106: Red Sox are the better team in every way. Buccholz may pitch a good game here since he has been tearing up AAA. Also, the Red Sox have the better pen, defense, offense.

Rangers -123: Twins are a much worse team on the road this season. Rangers have the offense, defense, bullpen, and Padilla can go deep into games.

    Parlay
    {Mariners -153
    {Rockies -155
    {Cubs -130
    {White Sox -160
    to win 6.82 units

Texas looks good, Boston might choke.
The only value I see is in New York Mets +187, line is significantly dropping due to the plus points..
    and Los Angeles Angels -104

Other leans, all look good if you are thinking about a parlay or play them straight:
    SFO -150
    STL -207
    LAD -159
    COL -151
    CHC -132
    SEA -150
    CWS -160

If you can get Boston and Yankees at plus money, that's value unless they are facing each other. Red Sox and Yankees will win over 90 games. If you agree with that, then you will see that this is a good play today. Lincecum is good and all, but Giants can't hit for shit and I feel that Pitt could win this game. I like Mariners cuz Tomo Ohka is absolutely terrible. I don't think there is value on dodgers today.

Yes, Red Sox at plus value anywhere in this world is value. These also have a lot of value:

        Dbacks +197
: Both Carpenter and the Cards' offense are underperforming right now while the Cy Young spirit seems to have possessed Garland of late. The Dbacks offense is as hot as the sun right now!!!

Brewers +116: Arroyo + Reds vs the Brewers? The Reds have no advantage here. Suppan is more comfortable on the road than at home which is why the Brewers' are 7-2 in his L9 road starts (all as an underdog). Suppan's road ERA is about a full run less than Arroyo's home ERA and there's no doubt as to which offense will score more runs tonight.

Dbacks are a crap team. Dbacks do not play defense and Carpenter is one of the best pitchers in the game right now. I would stay away

As for the Brew Crew, the Reds have been blowing lately and could easily come up big in this contest. Arroyo has had great 2nd half numbers the past 2 seasons after miserable 1st halfs. Look at his last start against the mets, a complete game 3 hit shut out. I would stay away from this one as well.

You have a point there but the Mets offense occasionally shuts down on its own.

They may honor a 3-team parlay instead of a 4.. let me know
