I like the Cubs/Nats FF UNDER. I don't trust both pens to keep that game Under 9.

Lannan is the ace of the Washington staff and would have a much better record if he pitched for a "real" team. The Cubs are only batting .216 vs. lefties on the road this year, and Lannan held them scoreless on just four hits in seven innings the only time he faced them in Washington. I see him going seven innings here. neutralizing the negative effect of the Nats pen.

Harden has great stuff, so his recent slump is a mystery. Facing Washington should be the perfect remedy though, and he allowed 1 run and only two hits in seven innings with 11 strikeouts the only time he faced the Nationals. The Cubs pen has a 2.76 ERA the last 10 games.

Harden has also been great on the road. He's just terrible at home.

As for Lannan, yeah, he's really good. People just ignore him because the Nationals are pretty terrible (no defense or bullpen).
