If you're referring to the rain delay, the rain won't last that long according to weather report. If you're referring to my post, I look for the regression every season. It's something you have to prepare for. Capping is like golf. It's not how good you hit the good ones, its how bad you hit the bad ones.

That is a interesting question, but let's take a step back a little to look at what we are doing prior to our regression watch. We have been able to accumulate +57 units thus far, topping out around +62 units prior to the All Star Break. For me, based on my unit/dollar value, I am looking to accumulate 35-50 units each season. So at this point, I have successfully completed my season goal. So, what to do going forward you ask? I use 15% from the top unit count to officially declare a regression. At 62 units, we officially declare at around 52 units. But we don't want to engage regression strategies at 52. We employ the strategies, slowly as we approach the regression point. What strategies are there?

Play less games, let the negative trend play itself out. There is a greater chance for most players to CHASE. Playing less games gives you an opportunity to watch the trends and put an anti-chase mode in play. Keep in mind, we are managing our unit count like a portfolio. We don't want to inflict a fast, cascade of units to the negative side. We know, the regression is coming but minimizing and slowing it down will preserve the count, waiting for the trend to go back positive.

Make sure you are playing dogs during the regression strategy. As you put units in play, the best units to lose are on dogs. Base on our betting strategy, we never risk more units to win less.

Those are the main regression strategies for you to chew on. Based on my experience, regression always rises its ugly head. These are strategies I do. The question is what do you do, if anything. Manage your unit count is paramount (love the rhyme, just made it up).
