Capping the All-Star game

Is this even worth the effort? Sure, we have player's statistics, but how reliable can ERA, WHIP, batting average even be when all the players are the best in the game.

We can't really use trending from previous all-star games... or can we?

While the three day brake is nice in the "middle" of the season, I can always find at least something to wager upon related to the game. Mind you, the wager(s) are not heavy but a little something doesn't hurt to keep the game interesting or does it?

no way to know for sure how long players will play, the lineup, or how long the pitchers will pitch.

so you really are just gambling at that point.

you may be able to find an edge on the total, or a team total, if you get some reliable info on who's pitching and for how many innings.

it looks like halladay and lincecum will start, so maybe NL ff side, AL tt under ff would be what i would look at.
