    Is It Just Me ????
For starters , I'm no way near the sharpest knife in the drawer...I consider myself "knowledgeable" in terms of sports and betting...
I hate to sound superstitious or stupid BUT it seems I just cant win on sundays (especially in baseball)...Weird ,I could have the best week sunday comes and I lose , if I'm having a losing week , it gets worst on sunday...
    Unreal...

Does anybody else feel like there are certain situations in which they just cant win ??

I don' want to sound like a know it all, or jackass here. The first couple of weeks in the MLB season I wasn't doin so hott, had around a .500 record, but since then its been mostly lights out. 80%-85%. I look over the games everyday, and play between 2-5 games along with a small parlay on some days. I see people play way to many games in which it could go either way, and I don't understand why they are betting on these games. Such as the Texas/Seattle game today, or the Toronto/Baltimore game. When I look over the schedule everyday about half the games are a no play to me right away, because they could go either way.

I don't know how many bets you are making a day, but maybe make less bets.

OK , i normally make about 10 bets (not bet on 10 games) , Lets say I like 4 teams today , I'll play those and most likely the 1st 5 inning also so thats 8 plays...I also (sometimes) play the team I like over the team total...But I'll never play anything I don't think I'm getting value on..and I won't play the team total at any price ,so I feel like I'm considering the right things..

I agree with you , I do my numbers also and eliminate the now plays first , then I look for the required moneyline for me to get my desired % value ...But you're absolutely right about too many plays , happens to me sometimes ...

I very rarely bet on the underdog, usually always just the favorites, never bet first five innings, mostly bet home teams, bet on teams that are due for a win, bet against teams that are due for a loss, don't make prop bets, and tend to stay away from betting the over/unders.

I see , I do realize that I need to be a little more disciplined...I guess comming up with a system and sticking to it will help.. I don't think I'm a compulsive nor impulsive gambler , I guess its just a matter or fine tuning...

            Thanks for the friendly reminder.....

Maybe the Big Guy upstairs is telling you something indirectly ................. Does this continue during the NFL season ?

in the NFL and NBA I'm usually fine ,just baseball ....BUT sometimes I do sit and think that maybe it and other things are signs that I should just stop...
The problem is , I like a good challenge , and beating the break even percentage along with quitting smoking are two very big challenges I've faced...LOL
Don't get me wrong , my gambling is not a problem and I hope it never becomes one ..I keep everything manageable and don't ever bet what I don't have or can afford to lose..I made that mistake once when I first got in the industry...
Its very interesting though , to say the least..
