yes the Pirates suck, but Hamels isn't THAT good.

I just don't see this line.

I am thinking about creating a -1 RL by taking the Phillies -1 1/2 and the Phillies ML for an equivalent price of -185, but I think even that is too steep.

I am on PITT today. Hammels is not a -250 pitcher. Not even on different planets.

The price is too steep, but the problem is I don't see the pirates winning either. Hamels isn't that good. Hopefully they light up the pirates starter.

Philly bats are hot and Ibanez is back today. After 3 straight losses Hamels tosses 1 ER against the Reds en route to a 22-1 victory. His confidence is back and the bats are hot. Line is too steep but going against it may also be a bit of a trap. Pirates batters have also never faced Hammels before (2 have and their numbers are nothing special).

Howard and Ibanez go deep in this one.

The Phiillies are outperforming the Pirates in every category the past few weeks so no way I am going with the Eye Patch Men. I'm just not feeling -250.

This seems like a dangerous time of year. There are several teams on tears right now where the contrarian in me would love to oppose them but I just can't: Phillies, Rays, Yankees

I'm on Pit today because of the price. I think it's the right play.

Okay, I'm on the Phillies on a -1 RL....

Phillies -250 ML 1.65 to win .66 units
                Phillies RL -1 1/2 -120 .66 to win .55 units

This is the equivalent of RL -1 -190

The line isn't reflective of reality but the Pirates won't win either.

Hamels back to his 2009 form.

Pirates were due for a win, and Phily due for a loss. And also this line was fukin insane.

Yeah the +1.5 runline is only -110 or something for Pirates. I booked that in today. Played the same thing yesterday though, hit it; and now I'm thinking: lighting doesn't strike twice in the same spot. Which means....PIT wins it.

                            What a fvcking train wreck.

Why was Capps brought in for a non save situation when the lefty was rolling?
