I kind of like St Louis, they've been playing pretty good lately but I hate going against Lilly at home.

I was thinking about a parlay of the Royals and St Louis. Pays +580

I like Tim Stauffer of the Padres but I just can't bet on them. Especially going against Matt Cain at home. So, I like the UNDER here.

Looking through the numbers, Smoltz has good numbers and his stuff is there. You might be running into a buzzsaw there. Meche will receive far less run support as well and I trust the Red Sox bullpen far more than the Royals.

Yeah I looked at that line but the Pirates have scored 12 runs in the last 6 games. OUCH.

curious, he has given up hits in bunches in a few innings. his stuff is there and with that ERA he has not given up a homer yet. i am betting on him rounding into form, and even if he has a tougher outing the red sox have the offense (4th in runs scored) to back him up.

meche has given up homers in his last 4 outings (2 gophers served up in 3 of those) and look at his k's to bb ratio recently.

While I bet on Tampa, Oak as a dog may be worth a look with Braden on the mound. He gets 0 run support but if Oak can score 3-4 runs they have a chance to take it.

Sometimes I wish I would bet heavy on my own advice . Boston crushed Meche: Youkalis, and Pedroia, two guys with amazing historical numbers against Meche. And Oakland scores 4 and are in line to take out TB!!!

I loved Boston tonight too, even the RL, but their play has been shaddy as of late and with Smoltz who knows.
