Error on Juan Uribe with 1 out in the 8th to cost the perfect game, still has the No-No going....

Sanchez just struck out Eliezer Alfonzo for his 10th K, takes No-Hitter into the 9th Inning.

Johnathan Sanchez strikes out 11 on the way to his 1st career complete game while tossing the 13th No-Hitter in Giants history and the 5th in San Francisco Giants history.

What a great story for Johnathon O
His dad was at the game and had never seen him pitch in the Bigs.

He never had a complete game or a shut out.

                  Great job Johnathon O....................................... ....

With Lincecum taking a No-No into the 7th Inning last night, is there a worse offense in baseball than the Padres? I'd been fine with the Padres and Nationals combining rosters because they still wouldn't get to .500

So would've had a perfect game if not for Uribe?

Have never understood this line of thinking, Razz. If Cabrera leads the game off with a bunt single, does he still deserve to get plunked for doing what a batter is supposed to do, i.e., get on base and score? His job is not to give the pitcher and the fans their best chances of throwing or seeing a no-hitter.

Interesting that the Giants seem intent on hanging around in this race. Will San Fran be buyers on the trade front after the All-Star break?

His trade value increased nicely last night. They have the pitching to stick around I reckons, but they need to get a bat from somewhere, and the bigger bat the better.
