Brewers +120
Mets are hurt badly right now and without Beltran, Delgado, Reyes they are in trouble for a while. Combine that with a inconsistent Johan Santana along with the way the Brewers swung the bat last night I see them carrying the momentum to this game as the Mets will fall back into their slumping offense.
Angels EV
Angels are the hottest team in baseball right now. Even though Saunders is pitching and he doesn't have a great history playing in Arlington I don't see a weak Rangers pitching staff holding back he Angels at this point in time. Angels are also looking to widen their lead in the AL West and this is a opportune time to do so.
Red Sox -130
Tremendous value for the Bosox here. John Smoltz had his first start last week against the Nationals and had a rough 34 pitch first inning. From there he settled down and the last inning before he was pulled struck out the side in the 5th. He had to work the rust off and with them having the lineup they have with the capability of exploding on any given day I will be going with them against a weak Baltimore team.
Then there are three -200 or better favorites. Wondering which one to fade tomorow. I think the White Sox at +175 would be the best bet. Their bats are hot right now and going up against a Cleveland team who is struggling with the bat the past few games looks like a good shot for them to take this game.
