I know Philly just got waxed in game 1, but I'll ride with the superior team, at home, hungry to avoid the doubleheader sweep. Mets have knocked around Baltimore & a Phils rookie in recent days, if they tag Eflin I'll live with it.

Going with Philadelphia -173 (now moved to -185 & counting)

I know the stat for teams in a double header are like 22-5 or so, but I would be pounding the Mets right now after putting up 3+ touchdowns. If the Phillies run into ANY trouble, they have no pen, with such good odds on the plus, I would pound the Mets

with the Phils as a heavy favorite, I have the option of protecting myself if the Mets get up on them early. usually if a -200 range favorite goes down 2-3 runs early, then the dog will only be about a -200 to -300 favorite to hold the lead. Plus, like you said, it's hard to sweep a double header, especially on the road against a good team.

I like Eflin's stuff so I like my chances, but that's why they play the games
