Damn Cards screw me up for the afternoon. Wainwright does what he's supposed to do but rookie Bud freakin Norris goes seven strong, gives up two hits, no runs and the Cards don't score.

Was thinking about taking the Rangers tonight, especially with Snell throwing for the M's but am not comfortable with Feldman on 3 days rest. The Rangers "should" win this game but with the way this week has gone for me I'll hold onto my $250 profit for the day and move onto tomorrow.

Yeah, there's a whole thread on the forum devoted to bemoaning Verlander's start. C'mon, Tigers, let's get some runs back for CASH!

What a crap day. The damn DBags go up 6-0 and hold on for a 6-5 win. Verlander gets lit in the 1st inning and the Tigers win by 1. Frustrating day which also puts an end to a 4 day run of + $$$$. However, I can more than deal with a small losing day, considering the way the day could have gone.

Chase.....yes and no. Was thinking about taking them anyway but was going to layoff if the Marlins and the Twins cashed. The Marlins cashed and the Marlns choked so unfortunately it's a chase. Going larger than I normally would

Cash, I feel the need to apologize to you. I think I am bad luck. I decided to just tail you beginning yesterday (as opposed to picking plays from here and there) and look what happened. There has been some bad stuff happening in these games. Well, I am in it for the long haul and hopefully you will break my jinx. (PS, You should be fine on the ATL pick tonight b/c I was not home and missed that one) Good luck and I will be back with you tomorrow.

Yes, dvb02, the dreaded tailing jinx. This is a certifiably true phenomenon. When you begin tailing somebody hot, they instantly go cold. This happens time and time again. It's awful and you feel like it's your fault. The truth is: it is your fault.

Fortunately, the tailing jinx is only a temporary phenomenon. I hurt cockknocker when I began tailing him, but after a day or two he recovered and everything is rosy again. So don't worry about it and KEEP tailing Cash. Your jinx will soon disappear and you will enjoy many rewards in the days to come. That is, until another newbie tailer comes along and upsets Cash's apple cart for a couple days.

Sometimes I feel sorry for our sharps. They need SBR to keep their winning edge, but they are cursed by the tailing jinx. If it wasn't for the jinx, they would hit 80% of their plays. Ironically, if they weren't addicted to posting on SBR, they would only hit 54%.

No apology needed....just a bad string of luck the last week. Rangers lose in the bottom of the ninth a few days ago, then Johnson gets shelled in the 7th yesterday. At the end of the days it's just the game of baseball. Heck, a few weeks ago the Twinkies were up 12-2 or something like that and lost the damn game. It's OK though....just part of the game and the gamble.

Yesterday was a perfect example of not what to do on a given day. I was going to go much larger on the Marlins yesterday but decided to play what I did. I really liked the Twins yesterday but figured it would be a bonus when the Marlins cashed. Up 4-0 in the bottom of the 7th and all goes to hell. Now I'm pissed off, disgusted and say screw it, I'm unloading on the Braves.

Keep in mind that I wasn't in love with the Braves last night. However, I will give a shout out to my man Panekkkk for his take on the Braves yesterday which gave me the balls and the stupidity to do what I did yesterday. I'm normally good with not chasing a losing day but with the way things have been going lately I let my emotions get the best of me.

I could have gotten phukin crushed yesterday. There were 2 other games I liked but decided not to play and they both lost. Looking forward to a much much better day today.

However, I'm still in good shape and plus money. These fuked up streaks happen sooner or later and even though I'm taking my lumps I plan on coming on strong tomorrow. Off for some night time lovin and back in the morning with the plays
I am probably in a worst slump right now. Just work with tomorrow though. Keep that positive attitude and lets turn up with some winners. You have had a really great season. Let's finish strong here
