I'm not sure LSU is a good pick at this price at all. In fact if I were betting more than one game a day I would have to take the Longhorns. They should have won the first game and won handily last night, yet are still dogs of this size?

Also it seems kind of silly to bet LSU in this spot for you since you've already got LSU at +550 or whatever to win the series. Isnt it a best of 3??? Why would you not hedge your bet in this spot? It's the perfect situation to do so. You can place a wager on the Longhorns tonight, sit back and watch the game, and know that you will be a winner regardless of the outcome of the game. What could be better than that?

I have confidence in my Tigers. I also know my team real well. That's why I played ONLY 5 units last night. We played bad this whole series and still had an oppurtunity to win the series. Tonight Renaldo one of the best in the country is throwing.

Z.... why? You are already locked LSU to win the championship at +550 before the series started. Which means you have this last game at LSU +550 for 10 units. WTF would you go on top of that and buy them for -150?? Makes no sense at all. If anything you should be laying a little off on Texas.

This is a really poor wagering decision, imo. Good luck though!

horrible price to lay on an inferior team. texas better all around team and they have shown it. series shouldnt have made it to game 3. if you insist on making the homer play, wait a while, maybe you will get a better # later in the day.

It's not about how confident you are in your team. The fact is what you've got going you will either win big or lose big. Whereas if you hedge you will either win big or win small....with zero chance of losing so how could you not do that?

Especially in baseball where anything could happen on any day. If I had his bets going and it was the freaking Yankees and Sabathia pitching against the Longhorns I would still hedge with the Longhorns. It's just Gambling 101

I got into a "debate" with him over something equally as puzzling.

ZBOIZ "predicted" USC would lose three games because they have a new QB.
Yet, ZBOIZ predicts his LSU Tigers will be on the verge of a NC--and they have a QB with 2 career starts.

Only in the mind of Z does can that contradiction be washed over.

It's not a good bet because he's already got 10 Units on LSU to win the series at +550....So to throw more units on LSU at -150 IS A HORRIBLE PLAY. You don't have to hedge the bet (even though that's the smart thing to do). But you certainly shouldn't throw even more money at it as way way way way way worse odds.

You really don't see that either? I'm not saying Texas is the play tonight, however with the bets he has going that's the ONLY play that makes sense to hedge his futures wager

I'm nothing but cool with Z and I hope he cashes tonight. I hope LSU wins the CWS anyway because I've been saying that since day 1 .... if not UVA then I want LSU. I just think this is an unwise bet when he already has them at +550 tonight.
