Faria is actually good when he is not walking people and his last 3 starts (18 Ks vs. 6 BBs in 15.2 IP) are a truer indication of his ability. Zimmermann is pretty bad but he actually has a good K/BB ratio so there is room for positive regression from his 7+ ERA.
Plus I do not have Rays offense rated that highly vs. righties on road, main reason for Tampa Bay side play is Rays' pitching advantage.

Why Marlins LT? I was actually liking Phillies here. Straily not so good numbers against Philly. You think Jake is over-valued?

Yes, I only get Phils 54% (-117) so took shot at the price. And I actually have Straily rated just a shade above average, I don't put much stock in pitcher vs. team numbers, I am a full body of work guy.

Thanks for the input. Always like to hear your reasoning behind a play. So do you ever look at player's numbers in a lineup for a given game vs. the starter they are facing?

Same answer as pitcher vs. team, usually too small a sampling to be meaningful and prone to variance.

Tailed your SD -1,5 play Saturday. Want to give the favor back. Twins UNDER. Total is brutally inflated! Debating to go all the way to 7,5.
When you have a strong lean what is your approach just look for the +100 (double) or do you lay let say 5 units on the double and 2 on the "long shot" ?

This is why it's so good to have you here. Your picks are always soundly justified.
