A rematch of the opening day matchup where the odds were similar. In this instance, I don't mind going for the Braves to do it again after Philly come back from a sweep against the Rays and their bats running hot. While no one expected the Braves to win games against Washington and the Cubs, and seemingly undervalued, i'll take them as dogs again while the bats can score runs.
Teheran hopefully doesn't start slow, and with an improved command on the ball, he has improved since that opening day game and I'm hoping today is the case too.

San Diego Padres (Erlin) ML, 2.28

The Padres again get no respect from the bookies playing a Dodgers team who has been less then spectacular all season. Erlin has come back from Tommy John Surgery and by all reports, has looked good throwing the ball, especially on his change up. Unsurprisingly the money is favouring the Dodgers at the moment, and after losing another series to Arizona they will feel the need to get wins on the board in this series and against a team they usually like to score runs against. The Padres have had a pretty good week themselves, with a good showing from the bullpen so if it comes down to a close one in the end I favour theirs over the Dodgers. While Ryu had a good outing against Oakland I feel he's hittable against the Padres.

Chicago White Sox (Lopez)/Oakland A's Under 8.5 Runs, 1.98
Stake: 1u

Two pitchers facing teams they have never faced before with Lopez coming off two good wins, and Mengden being roughed up in his starts. Think now that he's had a few games under his belt to work on and improve his game he'll come out here with an improved approach to his game. The White Sox have also had some weather difficulties with their series against their twins and their bats haven't had the luxury of rhythm of day in and day out baseball. But expecting a lower scoring game this time around.

Philadelphia Phillies (Pivetta) ML, 1.952
Stake: 2u

The Phillies series matchup with the Braves with the same pitchers is on the cards and I’ll side with the team that won this matchup the first time again behind a guy (despite getting a no decision) hasn’t lost to the Braves. Think Pivetta has improved since that opening match more and looking for the Philly bats to get it going a bit more after being silence by the Braves pitching staff yesterday.

Pittsburgh Pirates (William) ML, 1.74

Two pitchers who have been pretty solid this season but i’ll Side with the guy who I think has been slightly better and take the Pirates to bounce back after Monday’s loss. Bettis has not pitched well against the Pirates and despite having an offence that can can get hits across the park they are also known to SO a lot against the good pitchers.
