Good afternoon,

This year we will start out with xFIP Plays and VMI Plays.

Last year ou First 5 Inning xFIP Sides and Totals went 204-171 for a + 35 units.

Last year our VMI Plays were 42-32 for a + 14.20 units.

Anyone can google xFIP and VMI to get an explanation of what these entail.

We are going to start out with just VMI Plays for now, since the stats site we use for xFIP Plays does not yet have the information posted, and I am hoping they will shortly.

To be sure VMI (Visual Memory Index) Plays can range from big favorites to big dogs, we have no control of that. If it's too big of a favorite we will be posting it as a -1 run game to lower the juice.

Thanks Sax It's important to remember that VMI plays do not take into account any other handicapping factors, so that's why I say be careful.

Over the past few seasons I have used a site called cleanup hitter that had, what I thought, great info for my handicapping purposes. They are not going to be posting that information any longer. I had some communication with the owner of the site and he said that compiling the data just got to be too time consuming. Unless I find another site that I feel I can use for my plays, I will not be posting anything but my VMI plays for now.

Basically, if you split your play 1/2 on the money line and 1/2 on the -1.5 run line, it will usually equal a -1 run line.

Thanks hockey. I use that site for weather and also was part of my info I used for my "Reliever Plays", but they do not have xFIP info. I am looking at Fangraphs, but they do not have it in the daily match-up format that I am used to, or at least I have not yet seen it.
