Woot, we cashed! Absolutely re: E in Oakland. Selling a run is my new favorite thing. I'm sure it will all go horribly wrong at some point, but 6 weeks in, my strategy is working thus far...

Yea I'm starting to really dig that strategy as well! I been doing more so w just the hooks so all it would be is a push not a loss, of course that doesn't up the payout nearly as much but still getting +105 to +110 opposed to paying -115 or whatever makes a huge difference over the amount of plays we make!! Selling the Oakland gm down to 7 was biggest odds I've ever cashed on MLB total! (I've played alt totals in football for years) so pretty exciting for me to hit this one!!

You deserve a lot of the credit (not on my selection of this game I had already played it before seeing you were on it! lol. Just on the overall strategy!) as I wanna say I got the idea to start trying this more from watching you have success w it this season.. this actually might keep me playing after the ASB!! I typically chill on bases as always have felt by then not nearly as many 50/50 type games w plus odds, gettin this nice plus money on totals changes everything for me tho!! Great idea!!

Wow, thank you very much for the kind words! I use the totals juice chart from CTG, and my main goal with every card is to have as many plus-signs and plays with potential to push as possible. Most people hate pushes, but they are a core part of my MLB strategy - given the relative scarcity of scoring compared to other sports i wagers (football, hoops), the potential to get your money back is no small thing.

Of course, this strategy isn't without its potential downside. I tried to get ahead of what i thought would be a line move upward in Toronto, booked it too early and just lost 30c of juice (could've had over 9 +100 if i'd waited and instead have 10 +115 when it's now +145). But, i nailed the line move in Oakland yesterday and that netted me almost 50c. Each day a learning experience - the minute i get too confident, this game always humbles me.
