Chic, I'm gonna be honest with you. This one is more of a gut call than anything else. I'm not a big Livan Hernandez fan and while he's been more than serviceable this season I think he's prone to get knocked around by good hitting teams. BAL is a good hitting team and playing at home to win a series tonight. This kid Berken is better than he's shown. His numbers are skewed from one horrible outing vs OAK a few weeks ago. I don't like the Mets lineup with Delgado and especially Reyes out.

In summary, I just think BAL is going beat up Hernandez a little and win this series. I felt like -110 was a good value with that lineup facing a mediocre starter with such key components missing from his batting order.

I do like the over more so than any side in that game...Im just not playing it because I didnt cap any totals as strong plays today except for the under in the cubs and pirates games

Backe is 1-2 w/a 7.77 ERA against the Rangers
Padilla is is 2-4 w/a 4.44 ERA against the Astros

Thanks for your response Jello--I agree that Hernandez is prone to get hit around, but I also think that the Mets offense hasnt been clicking on all cylinders. I think If Wright gets back into the groove tonight, coupled with Beltran's hot bat and Sheffields current hot streak, I think they can outhit the Orioles tonight. I honestly love the price...but good luck tonight anyways with Baltimore

The under has hit 11 straight times for the Rangers now... WOW is all I have to say, can't believe no one was on that. And the line is 11 again. I bought an extra point at 11.5 and hit it heavy. Let's hope it goes for 12 straight unders!
