Really liking the Tigers tonight. Jackson has been solid his last two outings and Wellemeyer has been pretty awful. From top to bottom and despite last night, I'll take the Tiger bats over the Card's all day.

i am a native detroiter and the only thing that makes me hesitate is tigers offense has been slumping and leyland is tinkering with the lineup too much. having a triple a guy lead off and ordonez batting third despite his lack of production and a few other failed experiments has costed the tigers runs. that being said i will be on the tigers as well.

I'm on the Rays and the Nationals so far today. Only took the Nationals because I'm going to see the game today and Wang is no way in hell a -210 pitcher right now.

Thanks for the info solobass, I might not go so heavy, but will make it a solid play nonetheless. Tigers are my second favorite team next to the Braves (I won't even go into their hitting woes). I'm actually going to a Detroit game in early August when I visit some family in Grand Rapids...I think they are playing the O's that week. Good luck!

BOS (way overpriced, my data is much closer than the current -170 line)
TEX (again, almost a tossup, -155 is too steep for the home team here)
KC (surest bet on the board today in my opinion)
MIN (-185 is too steep, but twinkies should take this one)

thegenix, you are right on your wang assessment (ha ha) and this is the best chance for the nats to take one. lannan does have a 1.90 whip on the road though.

bamagreen, comerica is a great park, be sure to check out the statues over the left field fence, the cigar bar and they have a great kiddie play area too. i am heading to the park, using my winnings to take the fam (10 of us) out there for fathers day this sunday. well, fathers day and verlanders next turn in the rotation.

Thanks for the tip! Some of my fondest memories growing up were with my grandfather in the old Tiger Stadium. Saw Cecil Fielder hit a homerun that still hasn't landed. Looking forward to Comerica though and will definitely hit the cigar bar!

On top of those plays posted today, I am really liking MIL at +123. RRL is only +183 for a +123 dog... and Suppan has been much better in June and is serviceable on the road. On the other hand we have Huff who, well, probably needs to be back in the minors.

Also liking LAA team total over 3 and the crumbs! As great as Lincecum is, there is no cooling this Angels team and SF is getting swept today at home. Juan Rivera is one fiya!

this game is close for sure. suppan has a 1.61 road whip, and huff is 1.15 @ home. sabermetrically speaking brew crew are due for a slide and wahoos are due for some wins. brewers have been much better than advertised defensively, that has been one of the statistical surprises for me this year so far. suppan has given up 12 dingers to 6 for huff which is surprising as much as huff has gotten slapped around. suppan has only pitched 7 innings in 1 of his last 10 starts which makes him very bullpen dependent, and huff is not much better. best of luck with your call!

Going with the Nationals for the FF. That way, if they do get a lead and jump on Wang early, I don't have to worry about their horrid pen.

Royals RL (+130) The Royals are 5-2 in Greinke's home starts...all by more than a run! Scherzer has a nice arm for the DBacks but they can't hit and he has a 5.06 ERA when you subtract his stats vs weak-hitting NL West opponents!

Tigers RL (+130) EJack throwing 98 vs Wellemayer...enough said....nice value here!

Reds (+140) RL (-115) The Braves have dropped Vasquez's last 4 starts and his career ERA vs the Reds is over 5! I don't like Owings but he did go 7 IP/1 ER earlier vs the Braves at home! I have the bigger play on the Reds RL just to cover all the 1 run games the Reds play (12 in May/June combined)

The D-rays are going to roll today. Price will throw 5 innings of 1 run ball before handing it over to their outstanding bullpen. The only reason this line is this close is because of the rockies win streak that just got snapped. That streaks over now and I think they get swept in the rest of the series. Also like the KC run line that people have been mentioning. Also, does anyone else like the over in the Sox-Cubs game? I'm usually not much of an O/U guy but I think I got this one figured out.

For all those on Tampa (me included), a lot of weird reverse ML movement. 92% of bettors on Tampa, the line dipped as low as -105 TB and then shot back up to +110 TB

Any insight on this?
