And what reason would that be?

Wang is worse than the Nationals. He's easy fade material, especially when the Yankees are somehow favored with him on the mound.

Congrats, but you guys got were more lucky than right. The bullpen could have just as easily lost that one.

The Nats have the worst bullpen in the game and Lannan isn't shit. You guys are throwing ur money away. There are much better games on the board.

Call it luck, call it whatever, the fact is Nats ML cashed! Congrats.

In fact, my observations lead me to the conclusion that fading the Yankees in the FF all season should be IMMENSELY profitable.

Good to see you faded yourself in the contest and now you're clearly in the cellar for the consolation.

I've been fading myself heavily in the contest. Check the link for my MLB picks in my sig.

I usually just go the other way for the contest, although sometimes I don't use all my picks. I bet I can get below -25 units.

Its pretty funnythat last night I pick the Yankees RL and explain why I think it's the play. Then I'm called a square and am told I'm lucky for winning....

Then tonight I take the Nasty Nats and explain why they are the only pick in this game, and why they are a good pick. And am told I'm crazy, and now that it was the wrong pick and I'm lucky...

Taking Yanks on the RL yesterday was questionable. I would never lay that kind of chalk on a favorite ever.

If you watched the Nats-Yanks game, you would see that the Nats should have lost. Tieing run on 3rd base with 1 out should have been an easy sac fly for cano against a reliever who was DFAed by the White Sox for being to wild. I say that you are lucky because 9 time out of 10 the Nats pen would have blown the game as I had warned you the whole time.

I am congratulating you as I am a fan of cashing big dogs. But you guys won this by a hair and if you continue to cap starters it will only bite you in the ass. Trust me on this one seeing as how I have probably been capping longer than you have.

The Nationals were the right play on both Tuesday and Wednesday, if you were betting the games.

Tuesday was no play for me.

Wednesday was a huge play on the Nationals. My spreadsheet looks nice now.

It wasn't luck. The Nationals were the right pick.

They outplayed the Yankees. Had the Yankees won, that would've been luck.

Even if they had gotten the run home, it likely goes to extra innings. +204 and the game goes to extras? I'll take it.

The Nats might've been the right play based upon the "value", but the idea that the Yankees winning would've been lucky is bogus. Lannan wasn't supposed to pitch anywhere near how he pitched today, as the line suggested. Then again, neither was Wang. AND if the game went to extras (and a line existed), it wouldve been more than -200 for sure.

Lannan is a very good pitcher. Wang is the worst pitcher in baseball.

The Nationals outplayed the Yankees that game.
