Toronto Blue Jays +175
Far too much juice on Philly here, a team who cannot win at home and who dont hit lefties that well. Romero was awesome last time in Texas but they lost 1-0 to Kevin Millwood, the Jays hit lefties really well and Hamels has been solid, but not outstanding this season.
Mets @ Orioles o10.5 +105
Both these starters are complete gash, Pelfrey has an ERA over 6 on the road and Guthries ERA in his last 3 starts is north of 8. Offenses are in good nick, the Orioles are generally a good hitting team at home and the Mets are finding ways to score runs despite alot of injuries. The pathetic Orioles bullpen will only help matters.
Astros @ Rangers u8.5 +110
Millwood continues to get it done and should be able to control the inept Astros offense. The Rangers offense has completely died off a cliff lately and they dont hit lefties well. Wandy Rod hasnt been excellent but he has a nice road record and should be able to lockdown the cold Rangers bats. These teams are ranked 28th and 29th in team OPS over the last 7 days so this goes under the total IMO.
Anaheim Angels +118
I'll take the hot hitting Angels in this. The Giants are a complete shambles with the bats and I reckon I could shut them out for 7 innings, Sanchez has an ERA over 5 in his last 3 starts and he'll have to be almost perfect to win here. 3 runs for Anaheim will probably be enough to win this game. Taking the better team as a dog regardless of the noob pitcher who is starting.
Nationals @ Yankees o10.runs +100
This is a complete joke of a matchup. Nats are sending a flyball pitcher who sucks against lefties, to a hitters park that favours lefty hitters. This could well be batting practice for the Yanks by the 3rd inning. No value at all in the Yanks on either ML or RL so will play the total, expecting the Yanks to knock about 15 in tonight. If Washy can scratch 1 off CC with a walk, a steal an error then a wild pitch, it will only add to the total.
Shabbang. Good luck boys
