    Early/Afternoon 6/12 - Twins @ Cubs
I love betting the early baseball games (for me they are early living in CA) so I can feel good about the rest of the day when the later games come on.

At 11 (or 2) the Twins go into Chicago. Wells vs. Slowey. Slowey went 4.2 IP with 4 ER in his last start in Seattle. Wells is still looking for his first victory because the Cubs have not given him run support at all and the bullpen hasn't helped him out either. All this on top that the Cubs have scored two runs in their last 22 innings of baseball.

The Twins snapped a losing streak in Oakland.. And probably should've won again yesterday morning had it not been for a late Oakland rally.

I wish I had CK stats, but I don't. IMO the Cubs snap out of it. Theres no way they score only 1 run 3 straight games. Wells will hold it down. So I'm thinking Cubs -1.5.

But I'm a retard. Thoughts guys?

You know, I was eyeballing this game too (for similar reasons, as i'm in NV.. and its early), but honestly I couldn't figure it out on my own.. seems to even keel. Both are not doing much to stand out to me (i'm a novice though..). So, I'm waiting on others to decide for me.

    *edit*

I did want to place my bet for the cubs though.

Well all things point to the same thing happening to Wells as in his previous starts. The Cubs aren't hitting. I do believe that they will turn it around somewhat and I can't see Wells giving up runs tomorrow.

Perhaps the play is UNDER whatever the line is in the morning.

I subscribe to the theory that when you have two young pitchers that have not faced the opponents lineups (Slowey faced M. Bradley 3 times) you are looking at a prime opportunity at the under, due to the element of surprise each of these pitchers will enjoy. If you feel hesitant about the bullpens, the under for the first half might be a better bet.

bet against the twins on the road and on them at home it's that simple. it's not my theory look at the records. it's like football, bet against dome teams when they don't play on their home surface. it's a season long angle every year. you will win money doing this. as for today, oh ya look at the records duh

I'm the Cubs. The Twins suck on the road on the Cubbies will not continue to score only a run a game. I see the Cubs breaking out of it today.
