By my divination of things, the Astros win it all in 6. All they need is to win Game 1 or 2 and take it back to Houston where they are unbeatable.

Many headlines -- one will be the Verlander trade for sure.

This is not the team the Dodgers want to see. The Dodgers will send 3 lefties to the mound: Kershaw, Hill & Wood.

Here is the reason why Houston just destroys left-handed pitching:

Altuve .353 w/ .977 OPS
Springer .301 w/ .972 OPS
Correa .391 w/ 1.066 OPS
Bregman .331 w/ .974 OPS
Reddick .315 w/a .762 OPS

You will see Reddick at the top of the line-up again in this series.

The Dodgers will see at least 3 right-handed Astros pitchers. Only one guy on the Dodgers roster bats over .300 against right-handed pitching: Austin Barnes.Only two Dodgers average over .300 against left-handed pitching: Justin Turner and Corey Seager. Word is Seager might be healthy enough to make an appearance in the World Series. That is a big speculation -- he might not able to field his position but if a pinch hit opportunity arrives, it can happen.

The lone right-hander, Yu Darvish has a 5-5 (w/a 3.44 ERA) record against the Astros -- a pitcher the Astros are quite familiar with.
Although Darvish have pitched very well in Minute Maid Park (4-1 w/a 2.14 ERA) i will not hesitate to add a wager on the Astros on the 27th of October if he is to get Game 3.

So, according to the ratings i think this could be a series where the home teams win their respective games.

I plan to bet on the Astros at home to make my money back if Houston goes back to Minute Maid Park down 0-2.

The Dodgers team mojo is really bad for the last 4 or 5 games. This is the reason why i give the edge to the Astros as far as winning the whole thing.

Someone made a snide remark in another forum, "Why only $200?"

Besides the Super Bowl and the college football Championship game, i treat the World Series games just like any other game. No need to blow my wad here.

Losing $200-$500 at this point is nothing when i am up 63.24 units (+$5,584.47) on the season. And i am hitting over 65% in the post-season.

Kershaw at home = 2.02 groundballs for every flyball

Kershaw on the road = 4.12 groundballs for every flyball

Dodgers backers are still convinced that Dodgers can still win the series. Same can be said for Astros supporters.Conviction is strong on both sides. After a 1-1 tally Dodgers are -130 to win it all now.

Dodgers team mojo takes a big dip going forward. Expect them to "find ways" to lose some of these games, starting with Game 3.

Remember the keynote i made about Justin Verlander being one of the headlines on why the Astros will win the World Series.

What are the Dodgers most afraid of for Game 6? Verlander going more than 7 innngs? -- or maybe even a complete game?

The Astros batters have seen plenty of Kenta Maeda, Stripling, Morrow and Jansen doesn't scare them anymore as they have knocked him two times.

Listening to the local Dodgers radio station is is almost comical that they are talking about Game 7 and a pending parade in LA when they might not even win another game.

Rich Hill have to be better than Verlander for the boys in blue to have another chance. I highly doubt that. The Dodgers bats have to be better than the Astros sluggers for them to extend the series, and i highly doubt that also.

I may add another player prop play. An Astros win today would put me over 70% for a nice play-off run. If i can find an advantage up and down the line-ups i will ad that play. Be back later.
